For the third straight year, Lou Tilley, President of Lou Tilley Media (LTM) was on the field as part of the world-famous Cal Ripken World Series (CRWS), serving as an on-field and features reporter during nationally televised games on CBS Sports Network on Friday and Saturday. Saturday closed out what was yet another outstanding week of youth baseball in Aberdeen, MD…full of games with teams in from all around the world. Not only was it a week of outstanding baseball, it was a week of high emotion and passion from the players. “These kids continue to impress me – year after year,” says Tilley. “They work so hard to get here, and it shows. Their passion is truly inspiring.” After the final Championship game on Saturday, the CRWS crowned a new champion – a USA champion – a team from West Raleigh, North Carolina, who defeated the former World Champions Japan the day before.
